About Me
Ashley is a Support Worker with a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Ontario Tech University and will be starting her Master’s in Counselling Psychology in May 2026. She brings strong experience in child welfare, behavioural support, and crisis intervention, with a deep commitment to supporting children and families in safe, inclusive environments.
Ashley takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, emphasizing emotional safety, collaboration, and individualized support. She has hands-on experience working with children with diverse needs, supporting social-emotional development, managing challenging behaviours, and implementing positive behaviour strategies. Her background includes crisis intervention, and program development within child and family services.
As a mother to a one-year-old daughter, Ashley brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to her work. This perspective allows her to support families with empathy, patience, and genuine understanding. She is passionate about ongoing learning and dedicated to helping children and caregivers feel empowered, supported, and heard.
